It comes in Mac and PC versions, and, IMHO, is much easier for creatives to wrap the brain around. My (now retired) accountant said that she wouldn't work with me unless I switched from QuickBooks to MYOB. Truth be told, I absolutely hated the first two days of working with MYOB, as data entry was not my idea of a good time. On the third day, I was mining the data. And that was something I'd never done before. I was hooked. Still am. If you’re looking for a QuickBooks alternative, permit me to recommend MYOB. You MAY be able to recover the files, but only if they don't get written over which can happen if you keep using the machine. For others (and J.), consider switching to MYOB.
