When I donate to charity, I do so via my personal money and I leave my clients out of it. Reason: They may not choose to support the same causes I do, and that's perfectly acceptable. I just don't get charity donations in someone else's name. Not to mention that it's likely that person will be innundated with phone calls asking for future contributions.
