Yes. Having a blog is just like having a pet. A LOT of responsibility. Glad I am not alone. We can all work together to be better blog raisers. I am seriously overwhelmed with being a photographer and all that that now implies.

You have hit the nail on the head, getting at the core exploration of how our modern lives seem to steal away the time. This is a good examination.

I have found the Four Agreements helpful, (Don Muguel Ruiz) BUT in my inimitable ADD way I have opted to forgo the book and get the audio version with Peter Coyote's voice. Now that really helps me.

You are so right. And it does make it hard to sit and write a long-form document, especially one that requires a LOT of concentration, like a brief or a patent application.

I have been trying to get my concentration level back up by making myself do fun things which require it, like writing or reading fiction. It seems to be helping.

I've been learning how to sing. Just me standing there, trying to use my body to form notes that sound good together. Talk about unplugging from the electronic leashes. And slowing down. Being mindful.

Thanks for the reminder, Leslie.
